This policy describes how WilsonDesk handles information when you use our desk experience (notes, dashboard, and calendar). It is meant to be readable; it is not a substitute for legal advice.
What WilsonDesk is
WilsonDesk is a personal workspace product. Depending on how you use it, data may stay on your device, sync through our servers when you sign in, or both.
Information we may collect
- Account details. If you create an account, we process the identifiers you provide (such as email and display name) and credentials needed to authenticate you.
- Content you create. Notes, preferences, and related workspace data you store while signed in may be processed so we can provide sync, backup, and continuity across sessions.
- Technical data. Like most web services, servers may record limited technical information (for example IP address, user agent, and timestamps) for security, reliability, and abuse prevention.
- Optional sign-in providers. If the operator enables third-party sign-in (such as Google), that provider’s privacy notice also applies to the information they share with WilsonDesk according to your consent and their policies.
- Optional analytics. If the operator enables product analytics (for example Google Analytics 4), the analytics provider may process usage events and technical metadata according to that provider’s terms and privacy notice.
How we use information
We use the categories above to operate and improve WilsonDesk, secure accounts, respond to support requests when offered, and meet legal obligations where applicable.
Retention and deletion
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. You may request account closure or deletion where supported by your deployment; the exact process depends on how WilsonDesk is hosted for your organization.
Your choices
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or object to certain processing. Contact the operator of your WilsonDesk instance to exercise those rights.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
